PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how Summize ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects information from users of the Summize mobile application (the "Service"). By using Summize, you agree to the practices described below.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

a) Account Information When you create an account, we collect: • Email address • Authentication credentials (managed securely through Firebase Authentication) • Display name (if provided)

b) Usage Data We collect information about how you interact with the App, including: • Video URLs you submit for summarization • Summary type, language, and length preferences • In-app actions and feature usage • Crash reports and diagnostic information

c) Device Information • Device model and operating system version • App version • Approximate region/country (derived from device locale) • Anonymous device identifiers used for analytics

d) Subscription and Payment Data • Subscription status, plan, and renewal information • Purchase receipts (validated through RevenueCat and Apple) • We do NOT receive or store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details. Payments are handled exclusively by Apple through the App Store.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use the collected information to: • Provide and operate the summarization service • Process video transcripts and generate summaries via AI providers • Manage your account and authenticate you • Process and validate subscriptions • Improve app stability, performance, and user experience • Provide customer support • Detect, prevent, and address technical or security issues • Comply with legal obligations

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Summize uses the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

• Apple App Store — payments and subscription management https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, storage, analytics, crash reporting https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

• RevenueCat — subscription management and receipt validation https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

• OpenAI — text summarization (transcript text is sent to OpenAI to generate summaries) https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy

• Fireworks AI — audio transcription https://fireworks.ai/privacy-policy

When you submit a video, the transcript text may be sent to these AI providers for processing. We do not send your account email or personal identifiers along with the content.

4. DATA SHARING

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following cases:

• With the third-party service providers listed above, strictly to operate the Service • When required by law, legal process, or governmental request • To protect the rights, safety, or property of Summize, our users, or others • In connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets), with prior notice

5. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

• User data is stored on secure servers operated by Firebase (Google Cloud). • We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. • Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only. • Despite our safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. DATA RETENTION

• Account data is retained as long as your account is active. • Video history is retained while your account is active and may be deleted by you at any time from within the App. • You may request full account and data deletion at any time by contacting us at hello@bahagokce.com or by using the in-app account deletion option in Settings. • Some information may be retained for a limited period after deletion to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the EU GDPR and California CCPA), you may have the following rights:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you • Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected • Deletion — request that your data be deleted • Restriction — request that we limit how we use your data • Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format • Objection — object to certain processing activities • Withdraw consent — withdraw any consent you previously gave

8. SUBSCRIPTIONS

Summize offers the following auto-renewable subscriptions: • Summize Weekly — 7-day subscription • Summize Monthly — 30-day subscription

Prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region. Subscriptions automatically renew through your Apple ID unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time in your Apple ID settings: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Summize is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@bahagokce.com and we will take steps to delete it.

10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States and other regions where our service providers operate. By using Summize, you consent to such international transfers, subject to appropriate safeguards under applicable law.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email when appropriate. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
